Utes in the Paddock is an ongoing project for Asten Solar where we continue to work with the Lachlan Shire Council. This has included supply and install of solar lighting for both walkways and roads allowing tourist visitation during the evening hours.
This was a community focussed project working in conjunction with the council. A series of Holden vehicles were painted by prominent local artist. Asten Solar produced an environmentally sound lighting solution for the sculpture trail, existing walkways and roads.
We are excited to be part of this growing project, and to be given the chance to increase the popularity and visibility of this award-winning tourist destination.
Winner of the 2020 Best Sculpture and Trail Awards by the Australian Street Art Awards. Case study for being environmentally sound, including, solar lighting, watering systems for grass and gardens utilising underground river systems, water tanks used for toilet systems and solar panels for the information Centre.
