The objective was to increase safety for people using the resort’s roads and walkways. These areas provide access to the Golf Club, residential homes, tennis court and pool for vehicles, golf carts and pedestrians.
Asten Solar provided a solution requiring 62 commercial Solar Bollards to be placed throughout the pedestrian crossings, pool area, townhouses, accommodation buildings and across parking areas. The system design was our AST-1660 with quick charge L10 lithium battery banks and full remote programming. This system allows for semi shading whilst operating at full capacity. This was a cost-effective solution, and we were able to install without the expensive underground cabling that would have been required.
This Solar Bollard solution also created future proofing for maintenance services for the entire resort. The Solar Bollard solution is a self-managed solar lighting system. Its unique design with a protective dome also assists in withstanding vandalism and extreme weather conditions making it the perfect solar solution for use across the resort.
